For sulfurized batteries, use a large current within 5 hours. It is advisable to charge the battery to a slightly overcharged state and control the liquid temperature to not exceed 40 degrees, and then discharge it 30%. Repeatedly to reduce and eliminate the sulfuration phenomenon. The principle of the charging method is to use overcharge to precipitate the gas, scour the surface of the plate slightly with sulfide, dissolve it and convert it into an active material. The charging method can obviously repair the slight vulcanization phenomenon. However, it is not applicable to old batteries, because the precipitated gas scours the sulfate and also strongly scours the active material of the positive electrode plate, which makes the active material soft or even falls off.
